Innichen (German) or San Candido (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 120 km northeast of Trento and about 80 km northeast of Bolzano, on the border with Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,148 and an area of 80.1 km2.
The municipality of Innichen contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Innichberg (Monte San Candido), Obervierschach (Versciaco di Sopra), Untervierschach (Versciaco di Sotto), Vierschach (Versciaco), Winnebach (Prato alla Drava).
Innichen borders the following municipalities: Toblach, Innervillgraten (Austria), Sexten, and Sillian (Austria).
