Starting in the Fischlein Valley, the trail first leads to the Talschlusshütte before climbing to the Zsigmondyhütte at 2,224 metres, spectacularly situated beneath Zwölferkofel. The route then continues through rocky high-alpine terrain to the Büllelejochhütte at 2,528 metres.
After crossing the Büllelejoch, the trail continues to the Three Peaks Hut – where the Three Peaks suddenly rise directly opposite. From here, the route descends through the Altenstein Valley back into the Fischlein Valley. A long and demanding circuit combining three beautiful mountain huts with some of the most iconic scenery in the Sesto Dolomites.
